Support for Immigrant Youth & Families
Starting fresh in a new place is hard, but you don’t have to do it alone. ROOTS offers guidance on adjusting to life in a new country through peer support, welcome kits, cultural orientation, and language learning resources.
Health Education & Wellness Access
We promote holistic well-being through our ROOTS Wellness Guide, nutrition workshops, CPR training, mental health support, and community health outreach in partnership with local professionals.
Free Language & Cultural Dance Classes
ROOTS offers free Yoruba and Igbo language classes as well as African dance workshops that celebrate heritage, encourage movement, and build cultural pride.

From teaching elders how to use email to guiding students through digital tools, ROOTS runs Computer 101 classes and tech empowerment workshops to close the digital divide in immigrant communities.
Emergency Outreach & Care Packages
Through our ROOTS Emergency Response Unit, we offer care packages, hygiene kits, and food support to families in crisis—especially during resettlement, natural disasters, or financial hardship.
